The PowerMate LE-1 is our most advanced stair climber in the mid-duty class. The LE-1 has TWO drive screws instead of one which allows the LE-1 to raise the toe plate independently from the wheels (which travel along the frame). The ability to raise the toe plate means the operator can dynamically balance the load to achieve a perfect balanced position. This is particularly useful when moving bottom heavy loads like heat pumps, wood stoves, water meters, batteries and medium sized boilers.
